A brand new staple on the market. World renowned oboe maker Thom Hiniker has teamed up with Advantage Double Reeds to design a staple to his preferred specifications. Offered in brass and silver, this staple features thick wall, 47 MM or 46 MM in length, natural cork, continuous scoring on smooth polished walls.
The cork is slightly thicker than an average staple for a tighter fit in the oboe- as to Hiniker's liking. The scoring offers a raised burr which provides extra traction for the cane. The bore shape is similar to that of the Pisoni style staple.
